Over the long holiday weekend Mr X and I decided to tour a few National Parks to which we'd never been. So we went to Moab. That gave us access to both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. We arrived Friday around noon and set up our campsite (yes, we camped) as quickly as possible so that we could head out for a long hike in Arches. I think our total mileage that afternoon at evening topped out at around 11 miles of hiking. The scenery was spectacular and the weather was dry and warm. The whole time we were there it was about 88-90 during the day and about 60-62 at night - which made for really easy camping conditions. Here are our photos from our hikes in Arches NP:

Love the pictures.
We are hoping to visit this place next summer.
Looks fantastic.
Ditto. Lots of places we wanted to see and never made it. Besides the scenery, there is a pretty good looking gal with wavy hair done up in a pony tail looking out a hole at a panoramic view. Love the hair.
