On being a boy
Deciding to chop off most of my hair a mere FOUR days before Mr X's much anticipated return home has got to be one of the dumbest things I've ever done, beauty-wise. *sigh* Look at me! My sex appeal has now plummeted down to nothing (not that it was super high before but at least I didn't look like a boy). I was so sad after this, I had to self-medicate with a cheese mug. I hate my new hair. Poor Mr X - I'm so sorry - I promise I'll never cut my hair again!

LOVE the unflattering face. i think you've motivated me to post a picture i recently took of myself where i have 14 chins. beautiful. it's not that bad. hair grows back. would flipping it out look any better?
It's not as bad as you think. The truly bad haircuts require a trip to the store for a hat afterward. It makes you look more "mature" though. And this is why I have not had a "real" haircut in 2 years. Ugh. Hair grows, right?

This is from me: I had the exact same experience about 8 years ago. I cut my hair way too short, felt like a boy, and hated it for months. I have never cut it short again and I don't care if people accuse me of a stagnant hair-do. I guess this isn't a very helpful or encouraging comment.
On the bright side, your picture made Gilbert and I laugh out loud. (I think it was more the face than the hair.) What did Mr. X say?
Hey, that's my old cut! I had that this summer when she cut fringe in and I hated it. I had to cut off all my hard work of growing it out. Ugh. Serioulsy though- take a picture where you don't look all droopy dog and send me that one!
None of you are helping in the comments department here. After a girl gets her haircut you're supposed to say nice and encouraging things. The hair is short but it isn't ugly. I think it's cute. It's not a bad haircut, just different. But I am a short hair fan though, BUT still, it's cute and Mr. X isn't going to care when he sees you after his asia tour. PROMISE.

I don't know you from Adam but I do know the Tower family and I was looking for interesting ways to blog and was doodling around and saw your blog. You are so fantastic! If you would like to look at my blog and see my boy looking pics to make yourself feel better you are more than welcome. I just chopped off all the hair on my head and besides for it being shockingly chilly I look like a lesbian. I remember being slightly attractive but after this there will never be another crazy hair cut so I don't get people confused by my sex. I don't know many boys with your haircut though I don't know you but I think it looks cute. Don't worry I wont start stalking your blog!!!
I like it. Don't let the cut or anybody else get you down. Besides, it'll grow back . . . eventually.
