Summer Road Trip: Tetons Part I

Mr X and I have been really bad about taking photos this summer for some reason. In retrospect I'm disappointed about that because we've been to some incredibly beautiful places and done some unusual things (chicken butchery and such) this summer - all of which deserved better photo-documentation. We took some photos, but just not nearly enough. I'll post what pictures we did manage to snap.

Earlier this summer Mr X and I went on another road trip (I'm unofficially declaring this summer our Summer of Road Trips because that's what we did all summer.) to the Teton National Park. I immediately fell in love, of course.

This is what it looked like when we drove in the first evening. Incredible!

The next day we hopped on our bikes and biked through about 20 miles of the park, stopping at some lakes and a visitor center along the way. We packed sandwiches in our backpacks and ate them for lunch along the shores of a lake. The weather was warm and wonderful.
