A Silly (But Satisfying) Acheivement

I keep meaning to compile all of my favorite recipes into one location rather than having scraps and photo copies and scribbled copies scattered about. When I originally started putting together my "cookbook" I quickly realized that I'd bitten off way more than I could chew. So I scaled back the idea and decided to tackle it one book at a time. So I started with a compilation of my favorite treat recipes. I finally finished it last week and had it printed - I think it took me 7 or 8 months. Yay!

The next step, in theory, is for me to do a "Volume I" each for Main Dishes, Side Dishes and Bread. Then I'll move on to Volume II for all of them. But it's quite possible that I may burn out long before then. We'll see. I hope not though.

Doesn't it feel fulfilling to create your own book?
Congratulations! It sounds like quite the project.

Did you use Blurb? That's my favorite publishing company. If you did use Blurb, did you make your book available for sale? Could Gilbert and I go online and buy your recipe book?

It is so exciting getting that package with your finished product in the mail. Love it.
Hope you make more.

Yes I used Blurb. I didn't make my book available for sale because I was sure nobody would be interested in buying it for themselves. If you really are interested, I'd be happy to make it available. Let me know...
