Okay maybe the Sea World fireworks thing was slightly blasphemous...I will have to see them again to truly judge whether they are better than the NM lightening storms. Maybe time has faded my memory...
And it's official, we now have a place to live in SD. Woo hoo! What a relief that is. And the word is that it's a lovely little place that will suit our needs just fine. (I haven't actually seen it, my SIL scouted it out for us and I trust her completely.) It's half the size of our house so I'm not sure how we'll fit stuff. Yes, I'll have to eliminate my 'make-up room' and Mr X's 'dressing room' but we'll survive. One thing I'll really miss is having 3 bathrooms to choose from. We had one bathroom that was 'ours', another that was entirely devoted to the '#2' bathroom, and another for guests. THAT I'll miss. And my lovely kitchen - roomy, spacious, perfectly matching... *sigh*

No, you remembered right. People get way too worked up about the Sea World fireworks. I'm glad you found a house. It stinks to downsize, but it's worth it if it gets you to the beach!
i love that you have a #2 bathroom--we had the same thing in my house growing up. you just can't do that type of thing in a public area of the house...
well, unless you're a stay at home mom, and it's just you and the kids all day. because then, really, the door doesn't even get shut.
Too bad. We were getting the futon ready for you guys... and teaching the boys to go in and start jumping on it at 5:30AM.
I get up at 5 now anyway so you'd have to do better than that Nicole. :-)
Besides, don't ditch your dream of us cramming into your house just yet - cuz if I don't manage to get a job fairly quickly once I'm out there we'll be broke and on your futon afterall.
So where are you guys moving??? We're dying to know!
Oh, and the Sea World fireworks are pretty darned spectacular - especially with the awesome KYXY music choreography. Blech!
