I attempted English Muffins from scratch several weeks ago. I'm a big fan of English Muffins in general so I figured I ought to learn to make them. As with most things homemade they were WAY tastier than any store bought variety I've tasted. And I don't think that's a testament to my baking skills but rather it's a testament to how much better everything tastes when made from scratch. I made a second batch a week or so later using a different recipe (it took two days to make) and it was far better than my first batch. Yum. I love English Muffins.
