In Silverton, Colorado there is a very unique cemetery. This cemetery used to hold many, many unknown grave markings for people who passed away during the early mining days. However, the town of Silverton has taken the time to do research to find out to whom these graves belonged and what happened. In some cases the information they uncovered led to rather unconventional grave markers. Unconventional but incredibly fascinating. If you take the time to explore and read in this cemetery you'll undoubtedly feel somehow that you are peaking back in time on this old western town. I'm so glad we stopped and wandered here.
