Ocean Beach Market

Yesterday evening Mr X and I met up with the Nye family and ventured out to the Ocean Beach Farmer's Market. When I lived in OB many years ago, I remembered this market as being energetic, fun and having an extensive selection from which to choose. Today that memory was dashed as I found the market overcrowded, generic and expensive. Now I'm left to wonder, was it always like this and was I just a naive fool before or has the OB market's quality just really gone downhill? I'm inclined to believe the latter.
