I recently attempted to make a hat for the impending arrival of one of my [in-utero] nephews. I didn't really have a way to determine whether or not I was making it the right size so I used this honeydew melon as my guide. I really have no idea what size baby heads are so hopefully it works out. This is me with the finished product.
Note: When Mr X saw that I was posting this picture to my blog he said, 'The title of that post should be "I like to keep my melons warm." ' What a witty man I'm married to, no?

look at you all crafty now. your melon just needs a face now.
Actually, you could make another one and cover your. . . melons.
Gotta love that Mr. X.!!!
This is one of the best pictures I have seen on your blog. You are way excited about that capped mellon.
Okay, I'm ticked. I left a message on your post yesterday and it's not here. Hmmm...
I was saying that I was wondering what that random baby beanie was doing as part of your shelf's centerpiece. I concluded it was just another decorative piece of paraphenalia showing off your "great" taste in interior design.
You and that baby melon head look so cute together. However are you going to depart with it?
And yes Mr. X is quite witty. It's fun to have someone around that can make you laugh.
