While away for the holiday we also hit up Fish Creek Falls. It's only about a mile to get there. It's beautiful and refreshing. We would have taken more photos but there were a lot of people enjoying the falls so we didn't take very many pictures. What we did do though was scramble up the rocks to get much closer to the roaring falls and then we found a nice relatively calm pool of water in which to soak our hot, tired feet. It was such a pleasant and relaxing time.
This picture is kind of out of order, but I thought I'd throw it in anyway. We went fishing in an alpine lake. We didn't have any luck, unfortunately. But in our defense, the weekend prior we also went fishing and we caught 4 fish! Mr X even caught 2 fish with his fly fishing pole - it was his first time to actually fish with it. I was very impressed with him.
