Beatrix Potter's World

While in the Lake District I convinced Mr X to take me to the Beatrix Potter Attraction/Museum. Mrs Potter spent most of her life in the Lake District and she did a lot of good for the area in general, planting what would later become forests as well as raising sheep.

I remember the Beatrix Potter stories from when I was a child so it was very interesting to learn more about the author's life.

In the museum you could go on a tour of scenes from Beatrix Potter's stories. They were nearly life-size. Some were slightly creepy but it was interesting nonetheless.

My favorite part of the tour was Mr McGregor's garden. It was just bursting with flowers - so beautiful!

In case you can't read the sign - it says, "Please keep out Mr McGregor's about!"
