I am a hopeless, frustrated 'loves to travel' person too. . . and I am afraid there is so much world--and so little time (and money) for me to see all the places I'd love to see.
I would love to go to New Zealand, visit the Greek Isles, see the Great Wall of China, go through the locks of the Panama Canal, walk the Inca trail, go on a South African Safari. . . . Ahhhhh! Don't get me STARTED!
However--I AM getting to do one of my dreams late this summer. I will be going to Rome, France, Italy, Croatia and seeing a bit of the Mediterranean. . . I'm quivering with excitement about this trip!
Do you want to 'link up'? Since I DO read your blog and love your writings--(and I take it you happen to peek on mine from time to time) would you be willing for me to post a link on MY blog to get to yours?
(So I don't have to go through those extra couple of clicks on Nicole's blog!)
And you can feel free to do the same on your blog if you want. . .
Oooohhh I am so envious of you right now! That is going to be such a fun trip! How are you getting around? Boat? Trains? Flights?
I hear Croatia is so beautiful. Where in France are you going? Rome is very exciting...all of Europe is so thick with history. It's so fun to see it all. I can't wait to hear about your travels already!
And yes, of course we can link up! Thanks for reading my blog. :-)
OHHHH! I'm glad I have someone as giddy about traveling as me!
(finally someone who understands, who I can talk to!)
I am actually taking planes, trains and boats!
My MIL & I are flying into Rome for 3 days before our Grand Mediterranean Cruise starts. We will be touring the Vatican (and there are some city tours planned as well) Then we go to Naples, Italy, Dubrovnik Croatia, Venice Italy, Messina Sicily, Barcelona Spain, Cannes France, Livorno Italy and back to Rome. I am also spending the day in Amsterdam before I return--so I will be gone a little over 2 weeks.
I hope I get lots of decent pictures so I can put some up on my blog when I get back.
You have some fantastic, detailed shots of the places you've been and I've had fun reading about your adventures. . .
And HEY! We're blog buddies now! WooHoo!
So fortunately (or unfortunately) depending on how you look at it--I will be back to visit you on your blog even MORE often now!

Dude, you haven't been to Canada?
Nope, never been to Canada. Ever. I probably should next time I get the chance.
