Notice of Intent to Retire
Hi readers. After much consideration I have decided to retire from the blogging business. This site will be available for a few more days but after that you will no longer be able to access it. Thanks for reading and for all of your comments!

Bummer! I just discovered your blog. Oh well...hey did you see Mindy's new post?
I am sad for the loss of your blog; I really enjoyed it.
I might be retiring as well, due to lack of interesting content... we'll see. I think a side effect of blogging is the realization that one's life is not always terribly exciting.
so sad--i will miss your funny posts. please email me with a story now and again of your commute. i dream of the day i meet mr. bogey with his odd technique.
who is this telefone guy? how annoying...
ah crap. I will miss this! I guess you can just send your fans to me then....
By way of an explanation - the reason is exactly what Nicole suggests. Lack of interesting blog content. I originally started this blog to detail my travels and some bits and parts of my day-to-day life. Now that I'm not going anywhere until this fall I don't really have anything interesting to say. I run out of things to talk about quickly as I can't use work, won't use too much of my personal life and I'm not going anywhere these days. Thanks for the support and for reading!
is it something i did?
Hey. . . May I make a suggestion--as someone on the sidelines who occasionally will read your blog?
Rather than table it for good--why not just take a sabbatical and put it on hiatus for a while. . .
A blog is a 'living thing' it has its peaks and valleys and doesn't have to be posted to daily, weekly, or even monthly--it can just be like 'whenever'!
I wouldn't completely delete it--you might find something funny/interesting/terribly sad/provoking to post about in a few weeks or months.
Just give yourself a 'blog rest' for a while--and come back whenever you feel like it.
After all--it is YOUR blog--and you can be as frequent or infrequent as you like about it.
Good luck whatever you do!
i agree with showmethesale--please leave it open--you know something outrageous is going to happen soon, and you'll have nowhere to write about it if you delete this! besides, i like to go back and look at mr. t with the goose every now and then, when i need a good pick me up!
