I know my work sounds boring sometimes but good grief it can be drama-filled. I mean, it's the height of tax season people and there's nothing more important than system performance! Believe it or not, it is more important than your spouse or your kids or your rest or health. This is serious stuff! :-)
It is 10:30 on a Thursday evening and I am working....probably until 12 or 1 (hopefully not longer). But I have to be at the office tomorrow morning bright an early because there is important stuff to be done! Tomorrow night I have to work too, probably until 2 or 3. I'm 'on call' Saturday and I have to work a full day on Sunday.
Rumor has it that after May is over things should calm down a bit. Please, please please....

i just can't believe you work those hours. i don't even know what you do (apparently it's very important), but i still just can't imagine those hours. i'm tired just thinking about it, and i just woke up!
Sorry about those hours. Also sorry I was busy both times you called. I actually teach a lot of hours 6 days a week. It generates some unwelcome mind-sets. I won't indulge. Did you at least take memory pictures of your bruised thigh? It will serve to bring laughs later in life. Painful thought. You can look back on your bruised thigh pictures and think you look great. And keep with the blog. It cheers me.
I guess one positive result of my sometimes unpleasant hours is that I have to do something to stay awake - so I blog for a while. Like tonight...it's 1:30am.
